LMForums Reinsurance Practice Group
- 22/06/2018
Senior Reinsurance professionals gathered on 22nd June for the first meeting of the newly created Practice Group kindly supported by Freeborn & Peters LLP which aims to provide a forum for individuals with functional responsibility across all parts of the Reinsurance sector; underwriting, broking, claims, legacy, actuarial and legal.
This new group is kindly sponsored by Freeborn & Peters LLP who bring a wealth of experience to the group with their years of working alongside the Market.
Over an amazing breakfast the Ivy City Garden, the group discussed some of the key issues impacting the Reinsurance market, ranging from the effect new technologies are having, the likely disrupters, the evolving role of Reinsurance Broker, the buoyant run-off/legacy market and the availability of good talented staff. This first meeting has set the scene for the coming year during which the group will discuss and debate some of these areas.
We are delighted to have representation from across the market on the group, including companies such as Markel, Allianz Germany, Lockton, Willis, Catalina Re and others. If you are interested in being part of this exciting forum, do contact us. The group meets quarterly in the City over breakfast.
