Business Innovation & Summer Party
- 20/07/2016
Over 70 Market practitioners attended the City of London Club on 20th July 2016 to attend the Business Innovation Summit where they were given the very latest update on the TOM project, from Project Leader, Joe Dainty, including an outline of the Blueprint. Joe also talked the audience through the “in-flight” Market projects and the successes so far.
Dave Jones from Konica Minolta then enlightened the audience on innovation with information management and how to use it as an asset. The session concluded with the popular roundtable discussion groups on the meaning of innovation, led by JP Luchetti of Mubaloo and Roger Oldham of LMForums.
During the feedback session, delegates agreed that innovation can be difficult inside an individual firm, let alone a Marketplace and that culture is a major influence. One Market Practitioner summed up innovation succinctly, as “Doing what we normally do but better”. Another questioned whether we were innovating in the the London Market at all, or simply catching up?
