LMF is celebrating a very special anniversary in 2024. This is our 10th year at the heart of the London Insurance Market. Over the last decade, we have brought thousands of insurance professionals together with incredible organisations who support firms in the London Insurance Market and provide them with valued products and services. We’ve also been able to welcome first class speakers and commentators from around the world, including those from academia, the military and Government. We continue to add to our popular Practice Group programme with great success. Our Business Architects PG and our Data & Analytics Leaders’ PG have become well established and thriving, over the last year. Over the last ten years we estimate that around 20,000 practitioners and guests have attended LMF events and we are proud that these remain free of charge and that we continue to operate on a Not for Profit basis, for the benefit of the insurance community.

Every year, our biggest and most colourful event is the mighty Market People Awards, which this year took place on 27th June, at the beautiful Merchant Taylor’s Hall. It really is a celebration of excellence and Market contribution. Twenty five worthy professionals entered the Market People Hall of Fame and many more received Highly Commended status. This year at the Awards, we supported The Alzheimer’s Society and through the kind generosity of our guests, we raised £6,324 for this amazing charity. During the Awards, we celebrated the life and contribution of our friend Joe Dainty, who we lost too early.

After a decade, LMF continues to be at the heart of the London Market and is proud to be adding value to this important eco-system as it goes through a period of digital transformation. We’re there for everyone, from those at the beginning of their careers to those with decades of experience.
