Judging is now underway for the 2026 LMF – Market People Awards.
The LMF Market People Awards, independent judging panel gathered this week to review this year’s nominations and help decide who will enter the Market People Hall of Fame.
The meeting of the judges is one of the most important stages in the Awards process. It provides an opportunity for the panel to carefully review, discuss and recognise the outstanding contributions being made by individuals, teams and firms from across the London Market. All judges are selected from the winners from the previous year’s awards.
This year’s Awards have seen a record level of engagement, with nominations up by more than 40% compared with last year. The increase reflects the strength of activity, professionalism and commitment currently being demonstrated right across the Market.
LMF would like to extend its sincere thanks to the 2026 judging panel, whose experience, insight and integrity are central to the process:
Dave Matcham FCII, Samantha Whitbread MCIPD, Shelley Perry MCIPD, Tom Downs, Fiona Temple Chartered FCIPD, Annabel Wellburn Dip CII, Christopher Digby, Simon Squires, Erin Treacy, Thomas Pereira Dip CII, Richard Coello, Jacqueline Girow, Kate Devenish and Henry Sanderson.
The integrity of the judging process remains paramount. All judging is conducted in strict confidence, ensuring fairness, openness and respect for every nominee. With the quality of submissions once again exceptionally high, the task of selecting finalists has been both rewarding and challenging for the panel.
Finalists will be notified over the coming days, so nominees are encouraged to keep an eye on their inboxes.
The winners will be celebrated at the 2026 LMF Market People Awards on 17 June at the Guildhall, where the London Market will come together for a special 1890’s Parisienne evening, recognising those who are true beacons of excellence, professionalism and contribution.
LMF also extends its thanks to Alexandru Cristian for capturing the judging session in pictures.
