Following this, he founded, developed and subsequently sold a start up business which designed and developed software for Brokers, MGAs and Insurers.

Carolyn has two decades of underwriting experience in both the Lloyd's and Asia markets. She started her career at Lloyd's of London, working with QBE and Amlin Syndicates. In 2011, she moved to Asia, initially joining Amlin Singapore and later RSA. In 2015, Allied World acquired RSA's Singapore and Hong Kong businesses, and Carolyn took on the role of CUO. In this position, she oversees the strategy and execution of business plans for the Asia Pacific and Global Markets First Party portfolios. Carolyn holds an honours degree from the University of Leicester and is ACII qualified.
